Birth Doula Services

“With compassion, patience, and calm, doulas can help us remember what we already know instinctively, and help us learn to be flexible when faced with the unknown.”

— Rachel Zimmerman, The Doula Guide to Birth

Comprehensive Doula Package

Prenatal

Beginning with a free consultation to establish whether I’m someone you feel safe inviting into your birth space, we will meet for 2 prenatal visits during your pregnancy. These visits give us a chance to go over your birth preferences, learn how to prepare your body and mind for labor, and anticipate postpartum needs. I’m also available for texts and calls throughout the entirety of your pregnancy.

Birth

At 38 weeks, I begin 24/7 on-call availability for your labor and birth. Meeting you where you are, whenever you’re ready for the additional support, is a cornerstone of my doula practice.

Postpartum

Once you’re home and settled, we’ll meet for one postpartum home visit. This typically happens within the first 1-2 weeks, and is an opportunity to revisit your birth experience, ask all of the postpartum healing and infant care questions, and celebrate all of the work you’ve been doing. Follow-up text and call support is available for one month.
