Birth Doula Package
“With compassion, patience, and calm, doulas can help us remember what we already know instinctively, and help us learn to be flexible when faced with the unknown.”
—Rachel Zimmerman
Below is a list of services included in my basic package for birth doula support. This package can be customized to meet your needs and your budget — whether that’s an extra prenatal or postpartum visit, or virtual support options to make things more affordable.
2 prenatal appointments
We’ll review your birth plan, explore labor coping techniques (including mindfulness practices and movement), and anticipate postpartum needs.
email/text/call support begins at the time of hire
I remain available to answer your questions outside of prenatal appointments — if I don’t have the answer, I’ll turn to trusted sources to find it for you.
on-call labor support from 37-42 weeks
I’ll be available 24/7 within this window, coming to you as soon as you need, wherever you are — I will do my best to accommodate labor that starts earlier or later and my intentionally limited monthly client load increases the likelihood of my availability.
1 postpartum appointment
During this visit, we’ll debrief your birth experience, explore infant care questions, I’ll provide hands-on support where needed, and you’ll receive a thoughtfully put-together care package.
